Rework Operator

Responsibilities:

Rework and repair printed circuit boards using standard hand tools and methods.

Install, repair, and replace through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) packages. Removal of conformal coating and components. Removal of epoxy. Solder wires. Follow standard practices and procedures and perform all work promptly and accurately, obtaining quality and quantity objectives.

Requirements:

Five or more years rework experience.
J-STD Certified required.
Experience using hand tools such as strippers and calipers.
Experience utilizing heat guns and various soldering equipment.
Current IPC Certification.
Able to work with limited supervision.
Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-up skills are required.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
Work history establishing dependability and competent job performance.
Operation and basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment.
